Students will acquire current skills in key healthcare management domains including; finance, leadership, human capital management, technology, quality improvement, and strategy that are critical variables in establishing, managing and leading a successful healthcare organization.

Course Objective

Graduates of the Post Graduate Diploma in Health care Management program will be able to:

  • Employ statistical, qualitative, and quantitative data to support informed decision making to healthcare strategy, policy, and delivery
  • Manage the changing needs in a complex healthcare environment
  • Use management practices to advance a healthcare organization’s strategic goals
  • Apply business principles and quality management to improve healthcare delivery
  • Apply ethical, legal, and professional standards affecting relationships in healthcare organizations

Bachelor’s degree in the Biological, Sociocultural, Behavioral, and Policy Domains that impact the health of the population these include Nursing And Midwifery, Medicine, Social Work And Psychology, Nutrition, Counselling, Public Health, Community Development.
