  • To empower participants with skills to apply their knowledge of Conflict resolution to Peace building situations and mechanisms in the community, and workplace.

  • Use the skills obtained to anticipate, prevent and resolve conflict in their workplaces and communities
  • Develop appropriate peace building mechanisms in their work places and communities to ensure sustainable peace
  • Expand their Conflict Resolution and Peace Building Capacity and impact to Organizations and Communities from resourceful networks nationally and internationally
  • Apply skills of Conflict Resolution and Peace building to a broad range of situations locally, nationally and Internationally

  • Theories of Peace: Positive and Negative Peace and their impact of Peace Building in Communities at National and International level
  • Effective Conflict Resolution for sustainable Peace Building

Special Features

  • Participants shall be able to appreciate the legal ad cultural contexts for different conflict resolution ad peace building approaches
  • Participants will use their skills to design appropriate Conflict Resolution and Peace building mechanisms for the environments in which they work and stay taking into account vulnerable groups like women and children
  • Participants will able to appreciate the different roles various members and stakeholders in the society play both in Conflict Resolution and also in Peace Building and how they can tap into this resource for sustainable Conflict Resolution and Peace building initiatives
